Here is an update on the photography classes and workshops Dale is offering through Gallery 194 in Lapeer, MI
"GETTING TO KNOW YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA" - This 5 session class is for beginner to intermediate photographers learning to use their camera as a creative tool for expression as an artist. The first class will be held at Gallery 194 in Downtown Lapeer with the remaining classes held at Dale's " Lone Willow Studio" in Lapeer. The final session will include supportive group critique and review. Students must come prepared with a fully charged digital camera, memory card and manual. Information is available to assist you finding a copy of your camera's manual as needed.
Session I Dates: May 10, 12, 17, 24, and June 7 - Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Session II Dates: May 11, 13, 18, 25. and June 1 - Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Tuition: $70.00
NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS - The workshops are divided into 3 parts for a total of 12 hours.
Part I - Classroom instruction concerning using natural light, basic composition principles, and preparing to photograph in the field.
Part II - Photographing in the field. Students participate in a sunrise and sunset shooting times on seperate days (app. 6-7 hrs)
Part III - Critique. Students share photographs acquired during field shooting times and review instructional topics.
Workshop 1 - July 8th through July 22nd (Part II dates to be announced later)
Workshop 2 - August 12 through August 26th (Part II to be announced later)
